Yoga

It can be said that the original purpose of yoga is to bring about a profound transformation through the transcendence of the ego. The word yoga itself means, “Spiritual Discipline or Concentration”. However, today yoga can be seen and recognized in many various forms and practices. There are so many styles that to mention just one would take away from this brilliant practice. There is a larger language to the practice. A possible goal of yoga is to go so deep within the practice that your mind transcends the physical postures. For many individuals, the practice of yoga provides them with a time and a space to unplug. Be your goal mindfulness or be it a moment to breathe thoughtfully and unplug, All Things Core can help you obtain the results you are looking for.

Pilates

Developed by Joseph Pilates nearly a century ago, as an exercise methodology, Pilates originally called his method, “Contrology”. The Contrology system promoted a disciplined approach to physical and mental mastery. Pilates has over five hundred exercises developed on and off apparatus created by Joseph Pilates himself. Through Pilates, All Things Core has helped professional athletes in the fields of basketball, football, running, dancing, and gymnastics find the results they are looking for. This is accomplished by using tools to strengthen coordination, efficiency of movement, and the centering of the body while developing balanced muscle development. Pilates has rehabilitated injuries and various chronic conditions such as; spinal stenosis, torn ACL, and hip replacements. Pilates enhances the quality of our clients' lives through the building of self confidence and self awareness. For our clients, the effects of these results are pervasive and continue to show positive effects at home as well as both inside and outside of the studio.
